The Clínica Especializada Condesa Iztapalapa (CECI) celebrated its 10th anniversary, establishing itself as a fundamental center for comprehensive sexual health care, HIV prevention, and specialized services for the population of Mexico City. The anniversary event brought together health authorities, founders, collaborators, allied organizations, and patients who have been part of the institution's growth over this decade of service. The ceremony began with the welcoming address of the clinic's director, who recognized the strategic role CECI has played in the timely access to diagnosis, treatment, and specialized follow-up for thousands of users in the eastern part of the capital. During the event, testimonials were presented from members of the clinical and support teams, who shared experiences that have marked their work at the institution. The celebration culminated with the cutting of a cake, a symbolic moment of unity and gratitude, followed by a musical performance by 'Sonora Diamantina,' which provided a festive close to the event. Well-deserved recognitions were also given to employees and departments that have contributed to the development of the CECI over these ten years. Two days later, the Head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, confirmed the news and announced that the opening is scheduled for next February. This announcement is part of the strengthening of the specialized care network in the country's capital, whose objective is to expand access to diagnosis, treatment, combined prevention, and comprehensive accompaniment services.
